Biography

Jaime Stevens graduated from The Ohio State University in 2005. After graduation, she began working on a medical-surgical unit at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Her clinical practice experience focuses on management of chronic diseases, specifically diabetes mellitus and renal disease. In 2008 she became an adjunct faculty member at Chamberlain College of Nursing as a clinical instructor. While working as a clinical instructor she developed a passion for teaching. She graduated from Capital University in 2010 with a Master of Science in Nursing, with an emphasis in nursing education. She began her teaching career at Capital University in 2010. Currently, she teaches medical-surgical nursing and pathophysiology in the traditional undergraduate program. She has also taught in the CNAP program, and has experience with on-line/hybrid teaching. Jaime enjoys interacting with her students in both the classroom and clinical settings.
