Biography

Larry Ray is an Attorney, Mediator, Arbitrator, Facilitator and Executive Coach. He is admitted to the bars of the District of Columbia and Ohio. He began as a mediator while attending Capital University School of Law, directing the nation's first criminal mediation program. Larry is a Senior Trainer for the American Management Association (AMA). He has designed several courses for the AMA including the Advanced Negotiation course for the American Management Association. Ray is a Senior Lecturer at The George Washington University School of Law teaching negotiation and mediation-21 years. He has co-authored several books: One, is entitled Conflict Resolution, published by John Wiley/JosseyBass. After serving for 5 years as a prosecutor, Ray directed the American Bar Association Dispute Resolution Section and the National Association for Community Mediation. Presently, he trains, teaches, mediates and arbitrates for Keller Graduate School/DeVry University (online), U.S. Postal Service, National Archives, the World Bank Group, NASD, and the National Arbitration Forum.
