Professor Bradley A. Smith was appointed to be an official observer to the Uniform Law Commission Election Law Study Committee.
Smith, the Josiah H. Blackmore II/Shirley M. Nault Professor of Law at Capital University Law School, joins the committee which was formed in the fall of 2021 to study the need for and feasibility of a model act on election law.
The Uniform Law Commission was established in 1892 to provide states with non-partisan, well-conceived and well-drafted legislation that brings clarity and stability to critical areas of state statutory law.
