Smith Named to ULC Committee on Election Law

Professor Bradley A. Smith was appointed to be an official observer to the Uniform Law Commission Election Law Study Committee.

Smith, the Josiah H. Blackmore II/Shirley M. Nault Professor of Law at Capital University Law School, joins the committee which was formed in the fall of 2021 to study the need for and feasibility of a model act on election law.

The Uniform Law Commission was established in 1892 to provide states with non-partisan, well-conceived and well-drafted legislation that brings clarity and stability to critical areas of state statutory law.
